CAPE NEDDICK, Maine — Cape Neddick, Maine, was the setting for the wedding ceremony uniting Alison Adams and Steven Martinez in marriage.
Seth Adams, ordained by American Marriage Ministries and brother of the bride, performed the service at 3 p.m. Sept. 5, 2010.
The bride is the daughter of Fred and Sandy Adams, of McClure.
The bridegroom is the son of Ron and Paulette Martinez, of Oklahoma City, Okla.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a silk champagne full length gown by Cymbeline of Paris. It was accented by French alençon lace, beading and sequins.
A reception for 75 guests was held seaside at the Greystone Manor, Cape Neddick.
Following their honeymoon to Hawaii, the couple have been living in McClure.
They will relocate to Oklahoma City in January.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of West Snyder High School and a 2001 graduate of Penn State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in microbiology. She received her Ph.D. in genetics from the University of Chicago in 2006. She will begin a position as a clinical data analyst with the Oklahoma Health Care Authority in February.
The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Putnam City High School, Oklahoma City. He earned his bachelor’s degree in international business from Oklahoma State University in 2005 and an M.B.A. from Loyola University, Chicago in 2009.
