DANA POINT, Calif. — St. Edward the Confessor Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Dr. Amanda M. Rhodes and Dr. Andrew W. Michael in marriage. Father Loc Tran performed the service on April 14, 2012.
The bride is the daughter of Gregory and Cindy Rhodes, of Sunbury. The bridegroom is the son of Wafa and Lucy Michael, of Laguna Niguel, Calif.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, chose her sister, Molly Leshko, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nancy Michael, sister of the bridegroom, Jennifer White, Lori Wolf, and Bethany Good. Flower girl was Kayla Michael, niece of the bridegroom.
Serving as best man for his brother was Philip Michael. Groomsmen were Daniel Rhodes, brother of the bride, Jonathan Galles, Ashwini Lal, and Cary Woods. Ring bearer was Joshua Michael, nephew of the bridegroom.
Readers were Adel Nammour, Lucy Michael, and Gregory Rhodes.
A reception followed at Tivoli Too! in Laguna Beach. An additional celebration was held at Indian Hills Golf Club, Paxinos, Pa. on April 28, 2012.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Shikellamy High School, a 2006 graduate of Grove City College, and a 2010 graduate of Drexel College of Medicine. She is an OB/GYN resident at Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, Pa.
The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Webb School of California, a 2005 graduate of Pepperdine University, and a 2010 graduate of Drexel College of Medicine. He is a surgical resident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, Pa.
After a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is living in Lansdale, Pa.
