NORTHUMBERLAND — The historic Priestley Chapel was the setting for the ceremony joining Regina K. Betz and Paul W. Hitesman in marriage. Pastor Amelia Shivers performed the vows at 2 p.m., Nov. 26, 2011.
The bride is the daughter of Barbara Feaver, of Grand Bend, Ont., Canada. The bridegroom is the son of Betty Mincemoyer, of Watsontown.
The bride was given in marriage by her children, Alicia Betz, of Alexandria, V., and Nathan Betz, of San Francisco. The bridegroom’s sons, Derek Hitesman, a student at Rochester Institute of Technology, in Rochester, N.Y., and David Hitesman, a student at Penn State, in State College, stood at the altar with their father.
After the ceremony uniting not only the bride and bridegroom, but the two families, a reception for 70 guests was held at the historic Penn’s Tavern, Fishers Ferry.
The bride is a learning support teacher’s aid at Watsontown Elementary School. The bridegroom is the training manager at Wood Mode Inc., in Kreamer.
The newlyweds live in Allenwood.
