MIDDLEBURG — Shade Mountain Winery was the setting for the wedding ceremony of Britt Swartzlander and Ryan Troup on Sept. 17, 2011. Pastor Susan D’Heedene led the couple in their vows.
The bride is the daughter of William and Betsy Swartzlander, of Selinsgrove. She is a 2006 graduate of Selinsgrove High School and a 2010 graduate of Juniata College. She is an anchor for CCN News 8, in Danville.
The bridegroom is the son of Douglas and Kim Leshock, of Elysburg and the late Joel Troup. He is a 2005 graduate of Danville High School and a 2009 graduate of Susquehanna University. He is a training and development coordinator for Service 1st Federal Credit Union, Danville.
The newlyweds now live in Northumberland, with their dog, Penny, and plan to honeymoon in an undetermined tropical location on their first wedding anniversary.
