STATE COLLEGE — Toftrees Golf Resort and Conference Center was the setting for the ceremony uniting Amanda Beth Bailey and Derek John Fisher in marriage. The Honorable Robert B. Sacavage performed the May 27, 2012 service.
The bride is the daughter of Linda Bailey, of Watsontown and Royce Bailey, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. The bridegroom is the son of John and Romany Fisher, of Port Trevorton.
The bride chose Carla Pidcoe, of Watsontown and Adria Yannaccone, of Raleigh, N.C. as bridesmaids and her niece, Katy Bailey as a junior bridesmaid. Groomsmaids were the sister of the bridegroom, Jill Ferrante, of Ocean City, Md. and Rachel Mattera of Sunbury, Pa. The couple also chose Sophia Ferrante as their flower girl. Ushers were brother of the bride, Von Bailey, of Elimsport, nephew of the bride, Devon Bailey, and brother-in-law to the bridegroom, Todd Ferrante of Ocean City.
A reception was also held on the grounds of the Toftrees Golf Resort and Conference Center.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Warrior Run High School and a 2003 graduate of Bucknell University. She is currently employed as a substance abuse counselor at Conewago Snyder in Beavertown.
The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School, a 2005 graduate of Penn State University, and a 2007 graduate of the University of Maryland. He is employed as a probation officer with the Northumberland County Adult Probation and Parole department in Sunbury.
The couple honeymooned in Oahu, Hawaii.
