ASHLEY — St. Leo’s Catholic Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting D’Arcy Snyder and Michael Werner in marriage. The Rec. Thomas O’Malley performed the service on Oct. 14, 2011.
The bride is the daughter of Robin Snyder and Harold Aikey Jr., of Milton. The bridegroom is the son of Kathleen Krofchock, of Ashley, and Donald Werner, of Exeter.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. Matron of honor was Jennifer Hoffmann. Bridesmaids were Aliesha Arnone, Stephanie Reed, Danielle Benjamin, and Carrisa Snyder, sister of the bride.
Serving as best man was Matthew Schlude. Groomsmen were Matthew Reese, David Werner and Adam Werner, brothers of the bridegroom, and John Krofchock.
A cocktail hour and dinner reception followed at the East Mountain Inn, Wilkes Barre.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Milton Area High School and a 2009 graduate of the Luzerne County Community College with a degree in nursing. She is employed as a Registered Nurse by Regional Hospital of Scranton.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and is employed by Truegreen Lawn Care.
Following a honeymoon to Aruba, the couple is living in Wilkes Barre.
