SETAUKET, N.Y. — St. James R.C. Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Lauren E. Heagle and Nathaniel E. Phillips in marriage. Father Robert Smith performed the 4 p.m. service on June 29, 2012.
The bride is the daughter of Douglas and Maureen Heagle, of Stony Brook, N.Y. The bridegroom is the son of Dr. Michael and Melissa Phillips, of Sunbury.
The bride chose Jennifer Shea as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Kalmbach, sister of the bridegroom, and Kelly Salmon, Amanda Young, Sabrina Glanez, Laura Candela, and Janine Proniewyeh.
Serving as best men were Joshua Phillips, brother of the bridegroom, and Michael Sees. Ushers were Michael Kalmbach, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Daniel Barnhart, Eric Heagle, brother of the bride, Sean Morgan, and Skyler Herb. Ring bearer was Thurman Kalmbach, nephew of the bridegroom.
A reception for 135 guests was held at The Old Field Club, East Saetauket, N.Y.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Ward Melville High School and a 2007 graduate of Bloomsburg University. She is employed by the Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI) as a speech language pathologist.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Shikellamy High School and a 2010 graduate of Bloomsburg University. He is employed by US Non-Wovens as a quality assurance receiving supervisor.
Following a honeymoon to Antigua, the couple is living in Sound Beach, N.Y.
