SUNBURY — Congregation Beth-El was the setting for the July 3, 2011 ceremony uniting Lori Marateck and Evan Wolf in marriage. Rabbi Nina Mandel officiated.
The bride is the daughter of David and Betsy Marateck, of Sunbury. The bridegroom is the son of Bruce and Marlane Wolf, of Branchburg, N.J.
The bride chose her sister, Jill Marateck, as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Oster, Abby McMackin, Sarah Spagnoli, Anne Kenney, and Amy Kiraly. Flower girl was Eleanor McMackin, niece of the bridegroom.
Serving as best man was Keith Amann. Groomsmen were Jason Kunzman, Jared Kotler, Steve Rawson, Paul McMackin, and Donald Burke.
A reception at Larison Hall, Bucknell University, followed the ceremony. The newlyweds enjoyed a honeymoon to Mexico and are living in Conshohocken, Pa.
The bride is a graduate of Shikellamy High School and the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in music education. She is a music teacher with the Abington School District. She is pursuing her M.Ed at Arcadia University. The bridegroom is a graduate of Somerville High School, Somerville, N.J., and the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in music and psychology. He is an investment analyst with the Vanguard Group, Malvern, and is pursuing his M.B.A. at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
