STATE COLLEGE — Corrie Clark and Jeffrey Sanders, both of State College, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Hobart and Kathryne Clark, of Malvern. She is a 2000 home school graduate and a 2006 graduate of Southern Methodist University with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. She competed on their team on a full scholarship. She continued her swimming career most recently by competing in the 2012 Olympic Trials. She is the swim instructor and coach at the State College YMCA.
Her fiance is the son of Jim and Sandy Sanders, of Millmont. He is a 2001 graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School and attended Pennsylvania State University. He is a medically retired Lance Corporal with the Marine Corps, and is an Iraqi Freedom veteran. He is the membership coordinator at the State College YMCA.
A March 16, 2013, wedding at General Potter Farm, Potter Mills, is being planned.
