NORTHUMBERLAND — Susan and David McDermott, of Northumberland, and Todd Coup, of Watsontown, announce the engagement of their daughter Ashlee Coup to Kit Bower, son of Dennis and Candy Bower, of Elimsport.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Warrior Run High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2007 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is now working on her master’s degree from American Sentinel University. She is a registered nurse in the ICU at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Her fiance is a 1997 graduate of Montgomery High School. He is a corrections officer for the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
An Aug. 31 wedding at Boone’s Dam, Bloomsburg, is being planned.
