NORTHUMBERLAND — Gary and Barbara Brandt, of Northumberland, announce the engagement of their daughter Rebecca L. Brandt to David W. Mowry II, son of Tammie Smith Mowry, of Sunbury.
The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Shikellamy High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in sports medicine from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in 2011. She is employed by Susquehanna Health Systems.
Her fiancé is also a 2006 graduate of Shikellamy High School. He is pursuing a career as a mechanic and is employed by Weis Warehouse.
A May 2014 wedding is being planned.
