SUNBURY — Jade A. Smerlick and Justin R. Rodriguez are pleased to announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of J. Greg and Jennifer Smerlick, of Sunbury. She is a 2009 graduate of Shikellamy High School and is a student at Lock Haven University majoring in geology. She expects to graduate in the spring of 2013, and is employed at Manor Care, Sunbury.
Her fiance is the son of Brian and Lisa Rodriguez, of Northumberland. He is a 2007 graduate of Shikellamy High School and a student at Lock Haven University where he is majoring in business management with a concentration in marketing. He expects to graduate in the spring of 2013. Justin is a sergeant in the Pennsylvania National Guard, and served in Afghanistan in 2008. He is employed by North Point Auto and Equipment, Northumberland.
No wedding date has been set.
