SELINSGROVE — Together with their families, Matthew James Purdy and Lauren Elizabeth Madison announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ann and Dean Madison, of Selinsgrove. She graduated from Selinsgrove Area High School in 2003 and attended Shippensburg University where she received a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in education with a concentration in school counseling.
Her fiance is the son of Craig and Michele Purdy, of Sunbury. He is a 2002 graduate of Shikellamy High School. He attended Lehigh University where he played football and graduated with a bachelor’s of science in mechanical engineering.
They look forward to their upcoming nuptials in the summer of 2013.
