SUNBURY — John S. and Heather L. (Ginck) Graybill were joined in marriage on Aug. 10, 1962, before the Rev. Moyer at the Lantz Lutheran Church, Sunbury. The couple celebrated their “50th” wedding anniversary on Aug. 10, 2012.
A surprise party was hosted by the couples’ children, Cathy (Graybill) Poff, John Graybill and Jason Graybill at their son’s home on Saturday, Aug. 4. Approximately 50 family and friends attended the anniversary picnic.
John Graybill is the son of the late John and Virginia Graybill of Sunbury, and Heather is the son of the late Curtis and Ethel Ginck of Sunbury.
John has recently retired from the used car business, Rainbow Motors, Routes 11 & 15, where he owned and operated a used car lot for almost 29 years. Heather is a homemaker. The couple have eight grandchildren, Jessica, Steven and Samantha Poff, of Sunbury, Brittany Graybill, of Philadelphia, John Graybill, of Allenwood, Carrie Graybill, of Sunbury, and Sidney Graybill and Margo Graybill, of Sunbury. They have two great-grandchildren, Lilly Poff and Tyler Malone, of Sunbury.
