DORNSIFE — Mr. and Mrs. William Hunter, of Dornsife, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary recently with a party at Special Occasions in Sunbury. The event, for 105 guests, was hosted by their children.
They were married Aug. 10, 1957.
Mrs. Hunter, the former Patricia A. Kurrell, is the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Kurrell. She is retired from the Selinsgrove Center. She enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.
Her husband is the son of the late Emma Wida. He is retired from Butterkrust and Celotex. He enjoys hunting and spending time with his family.
They are the parents of six children. Cindy Miller, of Lewisburg, Tammi Paul, of Pottsgrove, and Lynn Hunter Sr., William Hunter Jr., Cheri Ernest, and Patricia Hunter, all of Sunbury. There are also 16 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
