LEWISBURG — Mr. and Mrs. Carl Haga, of Lewisburg, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently.
They were married on July 21, 1962, at the Mount Carmel Methodist Church in St. Peters Village by the Rev. Haganberger.
Mrs. Haga, the former Pam A. Moyer, is the daughter of the late Harry and Erma Moyer. She worked with her husband at their Chevrolet dealership in Milton.
Her husband is the son of the late Eli and Erma Haga. He owned and operated Carl Haga Chevrolet, Inc., in Milton for 26 years before retiring in 2007.
The couple regularly attends Christ Wesleyan Church of Milton. Carl is a 32 degree Mason and has been an active member of the community. Pam regularly attends Bible study and enjoys gardening and painting. They both immensely enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
They are the parents of two daughters, Melissa Croman and husband Steve, of Selinsgrove, and Melinda Groninger and husband Jim, of Northumberland; and one son, Carl Jr. and wife Jennifer, of Pelham, Ala. There are also six grandchildren, Hunter, Brittany, Brianna, BJ, Emily, and Annie.
The family enjoyed a celebration of their 50th anniversary in New York City.
