ALLENWOOD — Mr. and Mrs. James Duck, of Allenwood, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently with a party at the Country Cupboard, Lewisburg. The event, for 55 guests, was hosted by their children.
They were married Sept. 15, 1962, in St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, by the Rev. Ernest J. Dailey.
Mrs. Duck, the former Christine Elensky, is the daughter of the late Walter and Violet Elensky.
Her husband is the son of the late Llewellyn and Mary Irene Fleckenstein.
The couple are retired from General Cable in Montoursville. They enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and dining out. Mr. Duck also likes to fish and hunt.
They are the parents of five children, Steve and Marge Cameron, of Milton, James Duck Jr., of New Jersey, Timothy and Rebecca Duck, of Montgomery, Michael and Michelle Duck, of Allenwood, and Suzanne Confer, of Montoursville. There are also eight grandchildren.
