SELINSGROVE — David and Linda Herrold, of Selinsgrove are observing their 50th wedding anniversary today.
They were married Feb. 17, 1963, in Salem EUB Church, Middleburg, by the Rev. I.C. Bailey and the Rev. Nelson A. Thomas.
Mrs. Herrold is the former Linda Herbster, daughter of the late Glenn and OlaJean Herbster. She is retired from Weis Markets, having been employed as a cashier in the Selinsgrove and Hummels Wharf stores.
Mr. Herrold is the son of the late Dewey and Lucile Herrold. He is retired from The Daily Item, where he was a copy editor.
They are the parents of two children, Michael and his wife, Megan, of Hummels Wharf, and Kelly Grabey and her husband, Donald, of Robesonia. There are also two grandchildren, Katelynn Grabey, a junior at Lock Haven University, and Bennett Grabey, a seventh grader in the Conrad Weiser School District.
The couple marked their anniversary with a family dinner at an area restaurant.
