MUNCY — John and Janet Shutt, of Muncy, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary recently.
They were married Jan. 5, 1953, by the Rev. Gerald Heilman.
Mrs. Shutt is the daughter of the late Charles and Gladys Reedy. She is retired from Lewisburg United Methodist Nursing Home.
Mr. Shutt is the son of the late Leroy and Mary Jane DeHart. He is retired from W.A. DeHart Inc., and previously worked for CVS.
They are the parents of four children, Patricia (David) Engelman, of Muncy, Thomas (Julie) Shutt and Leslie (Gregory) Valentine, all of Montandon, and Lisa (Del) Libby, of Gardners. There are also 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
