SELINSGROVE — Mr. and Mrs. William Apple, of Selinsgrove, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently with a party at Masser’s restaurant. The event, for 50 guests, was hosted by their children and spouses.
They were married June 17, 1962.
Mrs. Apple, the former Anna Hackenberg, is the daughter of Blanche Hackenberg and the late Charles Hackenberg. She is a homemaker.
Her husband is the son of the late Emory and Mary Apple. He is retired from Butterkrust Baking Co. of Sunbury.
They are the parents of three children, Allen Apple and wife Rondalynn, of Mifflinburg, Cathy Boyer and husband Dale, of Selinsgrove, and Debbie Ritchie and husband Mark, of Sunbury. There are also three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
