MIFFLINBURG — Mr. and Mrs. George Oldt, of Mifflinburg, celebrated their 60th anniversary recently.
They were married Sept. 6, 1952, by the Rev. Vernon Naugle, in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisburg.
Mrs. Oldt, the former Mary Kistler, is the daughter of the late Cloyd and Anna Kistler. She is retired from Pennsylvania House.
Her husband, the son of the late Peter Paul and Elva Oldt, is retired from Milton Transportation.
They are the parents of five children, George and his wife Gloria, of Bellefonte, David and his wife Zoe, and Linda Richards and her husband Robert, all of Mifflinburg, Penny Butters and her husband Daniel, of Bloomsburg, and Paul and his wife Kathy, of Watsontown. There are also six grandchildren, with one deceased, and three great-grandchildren.
