SELINSGROVE — Mr. and Mrs. Lee Naugle recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party given by their sons and their families at the New Berlin Fire Company social hall. The couple were married May 28, 1960, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Milton, by the Rev. Emmanuel Hoover.
Mrs. Naugle is the former Norma Keifer, daughter of the late Norman and Martha Keifer. She was a secretary for the Selinsgrove Area High School before her retirement. She now works part time for Dr. Michael Hayes, in Selinsgrove. She is an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Kratzerville, where she is part of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, a member of the choir and on the worship and music committee.
Mr. Naugle is the son of the late Harry and Arla Naugle. He is retired from the Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary, UNICOR. He works part time for the V.L. Seebold Funeral Homer, Selinsgrove. He is a member of the Lafayette Lodge# 194, Williamsport Consistory, has been an active volunteer for 45 years of the Kratzerville Volunteer Fire Company, and as a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Kratzerville, serves on several committees.
The couple have two sons, Timothy and his wife Debbie of Lusby, Md. and Jeffrey and his wife Maria, of Mantua, N.J. Timothy is an electrical engineer for the Naval Warfare Center and Jeffrey is an executive clinical specialist for Glaxo Smith Kline.
The Naugles have two grandchildren, Adam and Kathryn Naugle, and two step-grandchildren, Neena and Henry Williams.
