WATSONTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. McIntyre, of Watsontown, were honored on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary at a dinner given by their daughter and her family at the Peter Herdic House in Williamsport. The couple were married in the Watsontown United Methodist Church on Feb. 7, 1960 by the Rev. William M. Kepler. They are still members of the church.
Mrs. McIntyre, a native of Watsontown, is the former Diane Louise Wright, daughter of the late Frederick and Pearl Wright. She is a 1953 graduate of Watsontown High School and is retired from Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.
Mr. McIntyre is also a native of Watsontown, and the son of the late John and Madelyn McIntyre. He is a 1952 graduate of Watsontown High School and is retired from Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village.
They are the parents of one daughter, Jill Lamade, of South Williamsport, and have one granddaughter, Sarah.
