SELINSGROVE — St. Paul’s United Church of Christ was the setting for the ceremony uniting Megan L. Bressler and Joshua A. Younkins in marriage.
The Rev. Dietmar Plajer performed the vows at 3 p.m. June 27, 2009.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Dolores Bressler, of Selinsgrove. The bridegroom is the son of Dennis and Yvonne Younkins, of Thurmont, Md.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Mary Ellen Bingman, of Beaver Springs, to be her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s sisters, Melissa Kauffman, of Alburtis and Angela Smith, of Selinsgrove and Katy Boyle, of Lewisburg. Paige Younkins, the bridegroom’s niece, was the flower girl.
Michel Spuesens, of Sel i nsgrove, was best man.
The groomsmen were the bridegroom’s brothers: Isaiah Younkins, of Thurmont, Md. and Nicholas and Garrett Younkins, both of Emmittsburg, Md. Ring bearer was Camden Smith, the bride’s nephew.
Program and bubble attendants were Kylie Younkins, the bridegroom’s niece, and Jessica Smith, the bride’s niece.
A reception was held at Tedd’s on the Hill. Following a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple are residing in Middleburg.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, where she received a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies. She is employed as a paralegal by Thomas, Thomas and Hafer LLP, of Harrisburg.
The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Middletown High School, Middletown, Md. He attended Penn State University, Mont Alto campus. He is employed as an account executive for Grant Hanson Associates, Plymouth Meeting.
