Stump — Knepp


WINFIELD — Winfield Baptist Church was the setting for the wedding of Katie Jo Stump and Barron Richard Knepp. Pastor Phillip Choate, of Hammond, Ind., the bridegroom’s cousin, conducted the service uniting the couple in marriage at 1 p.m. on July 25.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Amy Stump, of Winfield. The bridegroom is the son of Barry and Glenda Knepp, of Beaver Springs.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Jennifer Hauck, of New Columbia, to be her matron of honor. Flower girl was Skylar Stump, the bride’s daughter. Guest book attendants were Donna Steiner, of Hammond, Ind., the bridegroom’s aunt, and Brynn Knepp, of McClure, the bridegroom’s niece.

Andre Wagner, of McClure was best man. Ushers were Timothy Hauck, of New Columbia, the bride’s brother-in-law, and Barrett Knepp, of McClure the bridegroom’s brother.

A reception for 120 guests was held at the church.

The couple are planning a honeymoon to Ocean City, Md.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Lewisburg Area High School and SUN Area Career and Technology Center, where she earned her CNA. She is a homemaker.

The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of West Snyder High School and SUN Area Career and Technology Center, where he earned his CNA, and a 2008 graduate of South Hills School of Business. He is employed as a cardiac sonographer at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

The couple are residing in Kingston.
