SUNBURY — Announcement has been made of the engagement of Amanda N. Judy, of Sunbury and Michael J. Swartzlander, of Mifflinburg.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mary Zimmerman, of Sunbury, the late Joseph Judy Jr. and the late John Zimmerman. She attended Shamokin Jr/Sr High School.
Her fiance is the son of Melody and Cory Spriggle, of Mifflinburg and Todd and Jennifer Swartzlander, of Sunbury. He is a 2005 graduate of Shikellamy High School. He just finished a four-year enlistment in the Navy.
A wedding is planned for Aug. 7.
