LEWISBURG — Rooke Chapel, on the campus of Bucknell University, was the setting for the marriage of Ashley Hempt Dincher and Bradley Daniel Carpenter. The Rev. Paul Cope, the bridegroom’s grandfather, conducted the ceremony uniting the couple at 3 p.m. on July 25.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Mark E. Dincher, of Winfield. The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Carpenter, of Golden, Colo.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister, Kristen Dincher, of Portland, Ore., to be her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ann Jenckes, of White Plains, N.Y., the bridegroom’s sister; Dana Binnendijk, of Washington, D.C.; Jennfier Moerschbacher, of State College; Megan Watkins, of Portland, Ore. and Kristin Gonsar, of Hershey.
George Jenckes, of White Plains, N.Y., was best man for his brother-in-law. Groomsmen were Peter Sicher, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Stewart Douglas, of New York, N.Y.; Beau Brant, of Castle Rock, Colo.; Bart Cicuto and Jon Windness, both of Washington, D.C.
A reception was held at the Genetti Hotel, Williamsport.
Following a honeymoon to Hawaii, the couple are residing in Dallas, Texas.
The bride is a graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Bucknell University, and her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. She is employed by Southwest Sports and Spine, Dallas, Texas.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Kent Denver High School, Denver, Colo. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Bucknell University, and his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. He is employed by American Airlines, in Dallas, Texas.
