NEW KINGSTOWN — St. Stephen Lutheran Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Laura Lengel and Jesse Daniel Ramsey in marriage. The Rev. Dr. Mark Radecke and Rev. John Teitman officiated at the service at 10:30 a.m. June 27.
The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Beth Lengel, of Mechanicsburg. The bridegroom is the son of James Snyder, of Sunbury, and the late Crystal Snyder, and David and Dana Ramsey, of Northumberland.
The bride chose Claire Bard, of Mechanicsburg, to be her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Alina Gayeuski, of Pottsville; Tracey Love, of Highland Falls, N.Y.; Megan Neff, of Ephrata; and Alyssa and Ashley Ryan, of Honolulu, Hawaii, cousins of the bride. The flower girl was Katie Kreiser, of Boiling Springs, the bride’s cousin.
Caleb Inch, of Herndon, was best man. Groomsmen were Michael Lengel, of Mechanicsburg, the bride’s brother; Jeremiah Ramsey, of Kulpmont; Joshua Ramsey, of Flagstaff, Ariz.; Josiah Ramsey, of Bear, Del.; and Jebediah Ramsey, of Northumberland, all brothers of the bridegroom. The ring bearer was Jackson Ramsey, of Northumberland, the bridegroom’s nephew.
A reception for 175 guests followed the ceremony at the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle.
The couple are residing in Gettysburg.
The bride is a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, Mechanicsburg, and Susquehanna University, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in music and religion.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Shikellamy High School and Susquehanna University, where he earned bachelors degrees in business administration and philosophy.
