MILLERSBURG — Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hassinger, of Millersburg, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a dinner party for friends and family on Sept. 5 at Kevin’s Place, Lykens. The party was hosted by daughter Gail Billow, granddaughter Holly Billow, daughter Dianne Knarr and her husband, Derl Knarr, and grandson Brandon Knarr.
The couple were married on Sept. 3, 1949, by the Rev. Eldon Earhardt at David’s Church, Killinger.
Mrs. Hassinger is the former Betty Boyer, daughter of the late George and Sudie (Miller) Boyer. She is a homemaker.
Mr. Hassinger is the son of the late Allen and Laura (Koppenhaver) Hassinger, Gratz. He was a teacher, baseball coach, principal and superintendent of Mahanoy Joint, now Line Mountain School District.
The Hassingers thank everyone who shared in their anniversary celebration.
