SUNBURY — Albert and Shirley Kemberling, of Sunbury, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently at a party given by their children at the Hotel Edison. Fifty guests were in attendance.
The couple were married in Milton on July 10, 1959, by the Rev. Raymond Shindler.
Mrs. Kemberling is the former Shirley Ann Baker, daughter of Ross and Katherine Bailey Baker. She is employed by Weis Markets, Sunbury.
Mr. Kemberling is the son of Albert Sr. and Edna Swope Kemberling. He is retired from ACF Industries, Milton.
The couple have four children: Janice Dowd and her companion Kyle Weir, of Sunbury; Kenneth Kemberling, of Paxinos; Tracy and Steven Snyder, of Watsontown, and Kathy and Martin Raker Jr., of Sunbury. They also have nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
