SELINSGROVE — Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Cook, of Selinsgrove, recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at a surprise party hosted by their family with 90 guests in attendance. Festivities were held at the Selinsgrove Moose, site of the couple’s wedding reception, 25 years earlier. The couple were married March 16, 1985, by the Rev. Charles Melton at the Selinsgrove Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Cook is the son of Alvie D. and Nancy L. Cook, of Selinsgrove. He is the owner and operator of Brush Strokes, Selinsgrove, and is the painting supervisor at Bucknell University, Lewisburg.
Mrs. Cook is the former Eileen Williard, daughter of Robert G. and Arlene M. Williard, formerly of Sunbury and now living in Harrisburg. She is employed as an administrative assistant at the Slivinski Law Office, Selinsgrove. She also works part time with her husband at Brush Strokes.
The couple are blessed with three children, Megan E. Miller and her husband, John M. III, of Shamokin Dam; Daniel R. Cook, of Chicago, and Matthew W. Cook, of Selinsgrove. They are also blessed with three grandchildren, Steven J., Ethan M. and Lauren Miller, all of Shamokin Dam.
The Cooks enjoyed a trip to Lancaster County as part of their anniversary celebration.
