SUNBURY — Richard and June Bolig, of Bolig Road, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 27 at a party given by their children at the Temperance House, in Lewisburg. Thirteen guests were in attendance.
The couple were married on Aug. 27, 1949, at the First Reformed U.C.C. by the Rev. Charles Buffington.
Mrs. Bolig is the former June Steinert, the daughter of the late Roy and Marian Steinert.
Mr. Bolig is the son of the late Ethel and Jesse Bolig. He is retired from ButterKrust Baking Co.
They are the parents of four children, daughters Marian and her husband, Glenn Battista, of Northumberland; Diane and her husband, Willis Savidge, of Middleburg and Janet and her husband, John Sees, of Sunbury, and son Allen Bolig and his wife, Elizabeth, of Sunbury.
They have nine grandchildren, one deceased granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.
