NEGRIL, Jamaica — Couples Swept Away Resort was the setting for the sunset beach ceremony joining Allison Leann Dennis Hill and Lorne Lester Ernst in marriage. The Rev. Lionel Rose performed the vows at 4 p.m. July 6, 2010.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Mary Gilmour, of Syracuse, N.Y. and the late William H. Dennis and Susan V. Ricker.
The bridegroom is the son of the late Walter L. and Thelma A. Ernst.
Chelsea Noelle Hill, of Williamsport, the bride’s daughter, and Todd English, of Selinsgrove, the bridegroom’s cousin, were witnesses for the ceremony.
Upon returning from their Jamaican honeymoon, a reception for 75 guests was held July 10 at DeSalvo’s Grand Ballroom, Williamsport. The couple now reside in Washingtonville.
The bride is a graduate of South Williamsport Area High School and Pennsylvania College of Technology, where she obtained her real estate certificate. She received her Residential Real Estate Appraiser certificate from Lincoln Graduate Center, San Antonio, Texas. She is employed at ConAgra as a quality assurance inspector.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Warrior Run Area High School and Triangle Tech, where he received an associate’s degree in electric maintenance and construction technology. He is employed by PPL Utilities.
