GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — First Baptist Church, of Grand Junction, was the setting for the ceremony joining Erin Ruth Rouch and Kevin Philip Walter in marriage on April 17, 2010.
The bride is the daughter of Craig and Carol Rouch, of Estes Park. The bridegroom is the son of Philip and Robin Walter, of Mifflinburg, Pa.
The bride chose her sister, Amber Stowe, to be her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Patricia Spuler, Leah Robertson, Emily Wehrle and Kirstyn Walter, the bridegroom’s sister. Bridal attendant was Stephanie Rouch, the bride’s sister-in-law.
Eric Walter was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Adam Stowe, the bride’s brother-in-law; Landon Walter, the bridegroom’s brother; Chris Wehrle and Clayton Laslie.
Music was provided by Sylvia Barton, piano, and Ellen Currier, violin; vocals were by Seth Rowe, the bride’s brother; Eric Walter, the bridegroom’s brother and Emily Wehrle.
A reception was held at Redlands Mesa Golf Course.
The bride is a graduate of Eastern University, St. Davids, Pa., where she earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations. She is employed by Alpine Bank, of Grand Junction.
The bridegroom is a graduate of the same university, where he received a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications. He is youth pastor at First Baptist Church, Grand Junction.
The couple met at Eastern University, when Kevin recruited Erin to play volleyball on one of the college recreational teams. They are making their home in Grand Junction.
