SUNBURY — Heather Ditty and Ryan Wilcox are pleased to announce their engagement and plans to marry at the Wilcox family homestead on Oct. 18. They became engaged when Ryan proposed to Heather in front of the Big Buddha, adjacent to the Po Lin Monastery in Hong Kong.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Vaughn Ditty, of Sunbury, and Kathleen Hering, of Marysville, Calif. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania School of Art and Design and is employed by Northwestern Human Services.
Her fiance is the son of Gordon and Nan Wilcox, of Mansfield. He is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology and is self-employed.
