MILTON — A surprise celebration hosted by their children on Jan. 9 at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Milton honored the 50th wedding anniversary of Lawrence and Bonnie (Stevenson) Lloyd. The children also presented them with a cruise to Bermuda.
The couple were married on Dec. 25, 1959, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Milton, by Pastor Hoover.
B on n ie a nd L aw renc e have three children and their spouses, Gary and Elaine Lloyd, Karen and Scott Herman, and Becky Trate and Bill Knisely. They also have six grandchildren, Brent and Brandon Herman, Karinda and Travis Lloyd, and Kyle and Nick Trate. There was also one deceased grandson, Jason Herman.
