HERNDON — Dayne P. and Phyllis Morgan, of Herndon, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 4 at a surprise party given by their children, aunt and friends at Kidsgrove, in Selinsgrove. Seventy-five guests attended the celebration.
The couple were married July 2, 1959, in Conneaut, Ohio, by the Rev. Reev.
Mrs. Morgan is the former Phyllis Petrocelli, the daughter of Maye and George McGee, of Cherry Hill, N.J. and the late Carmen Petrocelli and Alice McGee.
Mr. Morgan is the son of Roy Morgan, of Mount Union, and the late Martha Morgan.
The couple have two children, a daughter Meechel and her husband, Joseph Sanzotto, of Sunbury, and a son, Dayne W. and his wife, Sharon, of Levittown. They also have seven grandchildren.
Phyllis and Dayne are retired but take great pleasure in car cruising and enjoying their family.
