I always enjoy reading Joe Diblin’s column in the Sunday Daily Item, but wanted to bring an error to your attention regarding the most recent article.
Joe mentions “Christ of the Andes” in Rio. However, he is not correct regarding the name of the statue. “Christ the Redeemer” is the correct name for the iconic Rio statue, whereas “Christ of the Andes” is an entirely different landmark, located in the middle of a mountain pass in the Andes Mountains, on the border of Chile and Argentina. Thanks.
