This letter is directed to the person or persons who helped themselves to my street sign a couple of weeks ago. If stealing from a couple of senior citizens makes you happy, then you must be delirious. You do understand that street signs are markers for emergency response vehicles, don’t you? And what exactly do you do with a stolen street sign? Hang it on your wall as a constant reminder that you are a thief? Wow, what an accomplishment. What next? The swings from a playground? To say “shame on you” isn’t quite strong enough, but it will do.
