I have been following the writeup in The Daily Item concerning the Servano family. I can't imagine the mental anguish, stress and strain they must endure after living here after all these years.
They are being treated like criminals, which was a mistake long years ago. The children must have a hard time trying to concentrate on their studies at school. It is mental cruelty worse than being physically abused.
There are a lot of illegals in our country. Some are working, and others are draining our welfare system. Dr. Servano is being penalized for living here and working and supporting his family, giving his children a chance to be educated and live a decent life.
Several months ago, an illegal man killed his neighbor in the town of Milton. He needed a person to interpret at the hearing because he said he didn't understand what was going on. The Servanos are both working to support their family and give their children a decent education.
I hope the people that deal with the real illegals get on with their job and start siphoning them out
I hope and pray that the Servanos can stay in America, the land of the free and the home of the brave.
