LEWISBURG - A 92-year-old Montgomery man died following a two-vehicle collision Monday afternoon on Route 15 at Col. John Kelly Road in Kelly Township.
Willard N. Buck was a passenger in a car driven by Margaret J. Buck, 89, of Montgomery, state police at Milton said.
The accident occurred at 3:10 p.m. Monday when Mrs. Buck pulled her 2009 Mercury Marquis onto Route 15. State police at Milton said she pulled into the path of a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer, driven by James F. Metzger, 71, of Winfield. After the impact, both vehicles went into the northbound lanes.
Willard Buck was taken by Geisinger Medical Center by medical helicopter where he later died, a hospital spokeswoman said this morning. Police described the injuries to Mrs. Buck and to Metzger as minor.
