SELINSGROVE - Fire personnel from Selinsgrove and Hummels Wharf responded Friday afternoon to the Selinsgrove Center for a fire in an unoccupied storage building in a remote section of the complex.
Most of the responding units were cancelled minutes after the alarm went in after 4 p.m. Friday.
The Selinsgrove Center is a state-operated complex of buildings, some of which house mentally disabled adults.
Fire officials said the fire was put out quickly and there was no danger to residents or staff of the Selinsgrove Center. A damage estimate was unavailable.
