SELINSGROVE – An early morning fire at Gaugler's Auto Body Shop in Penn Township caused an estimated $150,000 in damages, according to fire officials.
The 12:30 a.m. blaze was along Gaugler Road. About 50 firefighters battled the fire until 4 a.m.
A state police fire marshal has been called to investigate.
Volunteers from Selinsgrove, Hummels Wharf, Shamokin Dam, Kreamer, Kratzerville, Freeburg, Port Trevorton, Middleburg, New Berlin, Milton and Liverpool responded. Dauntless Hook and Ladder Company ambulance crews were also on the scene.
