COOPER TOWNSHIP -- A Philadelphia woman was injured after she lost control of her car on Route 11 and struck another car as it was turning into a bowling alley.
State police at Milton said Timothy D. Doty, Hunlock Creek, attempted to make a left turn into Midway Bowling Lanes around 9:40 a.m. Feb. 15 when Ashley L. Rose, who was driving behind Doty and another vehicle, lost control of her car and struck the rear of Doty's car.
Doty and Rose both slid off the road and struck two parked cars in the bowling alley parking lot.
Rose sustained a moderate injury and was taken to Geisinger Medical Center, where she was later treated and released, according to a nursing supervisor.
Doty was not injured.
