Farmers invited to no-till meetings

MIDDLEBURG — The Snyder County Conservation District is sponsoring three informal meetings for experienced, new and potential no-till farmers on March 3. Meals will be free. Farmers may choose one of three events to attend.

The breakfast session, from 9 to 11 a.m., will be at Best Way Pizza Restaurant, in Beaver Springs. The lunch session, from 1 to 3 p.m., will be at Shafers Soft Serve & Pizza, near Port Trevorton. The evening meal, from 7 to 9 p.m., will be at Hoss’s Steak & Sea House, in Shamokin Dam.

An informal exchange of ideas between new and experienced farmers will take place. Attending farmers choose the topics to be discussed.
