MIFFLINBURG — A 40-year-old Mifflinburg woman was severely injured Saturday morning when her car crashed head on into a tree near Roush Road in West Buffalo Township, Union County.
Kristine Dziadzio, who was listed in serious condition late Saturday at Geisinger Medical Center, reportedly lost control of her Chevrolet Corsica sedan at about 2:30 a.m. and left the western edge of the road before traveling through a grassy area for approximately 200 feet and striking a large tree, according to state police at Milton.
Dziadzio had to be extricated from the vehicle before being taken to Geisinger, state police said.
