SHAMOKIN -- Four people were moderately injured at 3:15 p.m. Friday in a two-car collision at the intersection of Route 61 and Route 4026 in Shamokin Township, Northumberland County, according to the state police at Stonington.
Police said the following were injured: Debra L. Popiel, 50, and Ronald J. Popiel, 55, of Shamokin; Merlin A. Lahr, 68, of Coal Township; and Robert E. Gruneberg, 41, of Elysburg.
No additional information was available at presstime.
