DANVILLE — A 23-year-old Danville mother charged with selling marijuana to a police informant with her fiance, while their 6-month-old daughter was in the car, faces trial in Montour County Court.
Ryan N. Ferguson waived her right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday on charges of possessing drug paraphernalia, criminal conspiracy, possessing a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.
Ferguson allegedly took part in an arranged drug sale on June 12 in the parking lot of a drug store along Route 11, according to Danville police.
Her fiance, Matthew W. Kipple, 26, of Danville, also was charged in the incident. He had his preliminary hearing rescheduled for later this month, according to District Judge Marvin Shrawder.
The child reportedly is in the custody of Ferguson’s father in Millville.
Shrawder amended Ferguson’s bail to $75,000 unsecured with a special condition that she avoid contact with minors. He said she could work with Montour County Children & Youth Services to arrange visitation with her daughter.
Kipple remains in the county jail in lieu of $100,000 straight bail.
