Milton school chief up for another job

By Wayne Laepple

MILTON — William Clark, superintendent of the Milton Area School District, is one of three finalists for a similar position in the Manheim Central School District, according to an announcement on the Lancaster County school district’s Web site.

Clark has been superintendent in Milton for six years and previously served in several administrative positions in the St. Marys School District in Elk County.

The Milton school board granted Clark a 0.9 percent raise last spring that boosted his pay to $113,190 a year.

On Nov. 16, Clark will participate in a meet-the-candidate session at the Manheim Central Middle School.

Clark did not return a telephone call for comment Wednesday.
