SHAMOKIN DAM — The Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced the list of area high school students named as Young Americans for September.
Each month, the chamber recognizes students from participating schools for academic and community achievements.
In subsequent weeks, The Daily Item will publish photos of each Young American along with information on their school activities, achievements, community involvement and interests.
Young Americans for September are:
n Danville: Hannah Kronenwetter, daughter of Chris and Carol Kronenwetter, of Danville
n Lewisburg: Lincoln Davidson, son of Gregory and Colleen Davidson, of Lewisburg
n Line Mountain: Melissa J. Brosius, daughter of Dale and Janet Brosius, of Rebuck
n Meadowbrook Christian School: Daniel Shaffer, son of Ralph and Lauri Shaffer, of Muncy
n Midd-West: Jennifer Balinski, daughter of Bert and Kathy Balinski, of Middleburg
n Mifflinburg: Michael Wagner, son of Dennis and Kim Wagner, of Mifflinburg
n Selinsgrove: Courtney Lester, daughter of Sherry Ulrich and Michael Lester, of Selinsgrove
n Shikellamy: William Petersen, son of Robert and Betsy Petersen, of Northumberland
